The first summer is under the belt of the newly refitted ‘MATARIKI’. Aside from the 2 main engines the rest of the boat has been changed to suit the new Auckland owners. New teak and Holly floors, cabinetry, interior varnish, intergrated navigation system, new flybridge, additional water tanks and intergrated rear folding door.

Yes it has had an effect on little old NZ, Delivery of parts from Europe has been difficult at the best of times, recently made worse by the recent eruptions, watermaker parts from Seafresh in the UK taking nearly 3 weeks to arrive. Just goes to show how vulnerable we are to mother nature.
